PURPOSE:To prevent surely and previously the resonance of a clutch from occurring, by installing a judging device which compares an engine speed with a transmission input shaft revolving speed and whether the relative speed is resonance rotational frequency of the clutch or not. CONSTITUTION:A clutch 8 is installed in a space between an output shaft 1a of an engine 1 and an input shaft 3a of a transmission 3. An actuator 40 makes an intermittent operation member 8d of the clutch 8 operate in a clutch connection direction. And, a judging device 45 receives each output of an engine speed detecting device 27 and a transmission input shaft revolving speed detecting device 29 detecting a revolving speed of the input shaft 3a whereby it judges whether the relative speed is resonance rotational frequency of the clutch 8 or not. In addition, a hold state detecting device 46 detects a hold state of the clutch 8 by the actuator 40. Likewise, a controlling device 47 receives output of the judging device 45 and operates an engine speed controller 36, varying the engine speed.
