PURPOSE:To read out stable information by constituting a titled optical disk so that a width of a pit which is shorter than a diameter of a reproducing use laser spot becomes larger than a width of a pit which is longer than the diameter of the reproducing use laser spot. CONSTITUTION:A pit 2 has a pit length which is longer than a diameter (d) of a reproducing use laser spot 1. A pit 3 has a pit length which is shorter than the diameter (d) of the reproducing use laser spot 1. A pit width W2 of the pit 3 having a pit length which is shorter than the diameter (d) of the reproducing laser spot 1 is formed so as to be larger than a pit width W1 of the pit 2 having a pit length which is longer than the diameter of the reproducing use laser spot 1. In such a case, when an adjustment is executed so that an area of the pit 3 having the pit length which is shorter than the diameter (d) of the reproducing use laser spot 1 becomes equal to an area of the pit 2 having the pit length which is longer than the diameter (d) of the reproducing use laser spot 1, a level of a reproducing output signal always is made constant, irrespective of whether the pit length is long or short, and it is desirable for reproducing a signal. |
