PURPOSE:To increase heat stability of electrolyte and shelf life by adding a specified bicyclic tertiary amine to electrolyte using a specified Lewis acid as a solute. CONSTITUTION:A bicyclic tertiary amine having one or more C=N bondings and one or more nitrogen covalent bondings is added to an electrolyte using Lewis acid indicated in the general formula I as a solute. For example, 1,8-diaza- bischlo(5,4,0)-undica-7-ene, or 1,5-diazabischlo(3,3,0) non-5-ene or these derivatives is used as the bicyclic tertiary amine. Thereby, heat stability of electrolyte is increased and deterioration in battery performance during storage is decreased. |
