The invention relates to a time generator circuit for pulse counting for respiratory volume measurement, preferably for measuring the respiratory minute volume. The aim and object is to develop a time generator circuit which reduces a timing error of the first respiratory minute volume. According to the invention, the object is achieved by a timer circuit and an n-fold frequency divider circuit which is signal-linked to the said timer circuit and has a frequency-determining RC element and an RC element linked to the "R" inputs of the timer circuit and of the frequency divider circuit.
