PURPOSE:To execute easily centering and an adjustment of a position by providing the surface of an inclined angle of a critical angle prism of a total reflecting mirror in the same block, in a block body which is formed as one body by die casting, etc. CONSTITUTION:A block body 11 of an optical head device 10 is formed as one body by a synthetic resin or die casting, etc., a fitting seat 12 of a prism 1 having a half-transmitting surface is provided in the center, fitting seats 13, 14 for attaching a total reflecting mirror 2 and a critical angle prism 3 at a desired inclined angle are provided so as to be opposed to each other on its left and right, respectively, and recessed notch parts 15, 15 are formed in its intermediate part. Also, a through-hole 16 communicating to the outside, and a notch part 17 are provided on the back part of the critical angle prism 3, and the back part of the total reflecting mirror 2, respectively. Also, the prism 1, the total reflecting mirror 2 and the critical angle prism 3 are stuck with an adhesive agent and fixed to the fitting seats 12-14, respectively.
