<p>A receiver dryer for a refrigeration circuit comprises a cylindrical container body (11) with an upper opening covered by a header portion (12) which includes a stepped cover plate (121). A rotatable fluid inlet coupling (122) and a rotatable outlet coupling (123) are disposed on the stepped surfaces (121b,121a) of the cover plate, respectively, whereby pipework can be connected to the two couplings with minimum interference.
