The weft detaining apparatus comprises a preserving drum(6) and a support drum(7). The preserving drum winds weft(A) on its outer surface from a weft bobbin(B). The preserved weft is guided into an injection nozzle(30) through the gap between the outer surface(8) of the support drum and a ring(10). The preserving drum and the support drum is separated and fixed at a hollow shaft(41) and a shaft() respectively. The tension of the weft is controlled by (6),(7),(10).
