APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING PARTICLE DETECTION SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To make it possible to analyze many kinds of particles by a simple constitutional elements, by individually detecting and holding peak values of plural kinds of particle detection signals to apply digital conversion thereto and selecting conversion output operations in preferential order and outputting data so as to distribute the same in a state classified by the kinds of particles. CONSTITUTION:Particle detection signals S1-S3 having peaks corresponding to particle sizes are inputted to sample holds circuits 1-3 and peak detection means 4-6 and peak values receive A/D conversion by A/D converters 7-9. A latch circuit 13 outputs signals R0-R3 showing predetermined preferential orders to a preferential encoder 14 and leads out code signals CP0-CD2 for discriminating the particle detection signals S1-S3 to a decoder 15. The outputs of the A/D converter 7-9 are selected by selection signal reversals E1-E3 outputted from the decoder 15 and discrimination codes classified by the kinds of particles are set as upper rank addresses to store conversion data in the memory of an analytical apparatus AN.
