PURPOSE:To facilitate operation and to measure torque with high precision while rotating a gauge in the same direction with a gauge by providing a rotating shaft, an elastic member, a converter, etc., and leading the output electric signal of the converter out of a housing. CONSTITUTION:The gauge 1 is equipped with the housing 1 and the rotating shaft 3 is supported rotatably on the bottom surface 1a of the housing 1 through a bearing 2. The rotating shaft 3 is so formed that its tip engages separably the rotating body whose torque is to be measured. The elastic member 4 is arranged in the housing 1 and its lower end is engaged with a pin 5 provided to the upper end of the rotating shaft 3. Therefore, when the rotating shaft rotates at least once, the pin 5 abuts on the lower end of the elastic member 4. The converter 6 which converts the displacement of the member 4 into an electric signal is provided and its output electric signal line is processed by a signal processing circuit 8 through a conductor 7 and displayed on a display device 9. Consequently, defectives are removed from a flow production line automatically. |
