PURPOSE:To specify an interruption request source with a small number of interruption request lines by transferring discrimination information on the interruption request source and specification information on interruption processing to be carried out from an interruption request source detecting circuit at an interruption request. CONSTITUTION:When one of two input/output equipments 11-1n generates an interruption request, this interruption request is inputted to a detecting circuit 23. Then, the detecting circuit 23 accesses (n) sets of input/output equipments 11-1n successively through an internal bus line 25, an internal bus switching circuit 22, and bus line 3 to check whether or not an interruption mark is set in some accessed input/output equipment, recognizes that the input/output equipment is the interruption request source, and reads information on the interruption request source (discrimination information on the input/output equipment or specification information on interruption processing to be performed by a CPU 20) out of the input/output equipment and stores it in the internal memory of the detecting circuit temporarily. Then, the detecting circuit 23 sends an interruption request to the CPU 20 through an internal interruption request line IREQ(0).
