PURPOSE:To obtain a toner uniform in triboelectrification amt., easy in its control, and durable for long storage by incorporating a specified triazine deriv. CONSTITUTION:The triazine deriv. is represented by formula I in which R1-R3 are each H or an electron donative group and each is optionally same or different. As the mode of adding it, both of an internal addition mode of uniformly mixing it into the toner or encapsulating it and mixing the capsules into the toner, and an external addition mode can be adopted. In the case of internal addition, it is added in an amt. of 0.1-40pts.wt., preferably, 1-10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the binder resin, and in the case of external addition, it is added, preferably, in an amt. of 0.01-10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the resin, and as the binder resin, such as, polystyrene and paraffin wax, are used alone or in a combination. As the colorant, carbon black, disazo pigments, and other conventionally known dyes and pigments are used alone or in a combination. |
