PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain sufficient reliability even in a high temp. combustion atmosphere while reducing the oxidative consumption of a conductive powder, by using the graphite powder heat-treated in an inert gas atmosphere as the conductive powder. CONSTITUTION:An inner surface electrode 3 and an outer surface electrode 2 are formed to the inner and outer surfaces of a pipe body 1 opened at both ends comprising a cylindrical zirconia solid electrolyte and the graphite powder 6, which was obtained by heat treatment at 600-900 deg.C for 60min in a nitrogen gaseous atmosphere, is preliminarily compressed under pressure of 10kg/cm<2> to be contacted with the outer surface electrode 2 and a bottomed metal case 5. Further, by providing a protruded part between the conductive powder 6 and cement 7 and squeezing the opening part of the bottomed metal case 5, the conductive powder 6 is compressed through an insulating molded body 10 to be always held to a pressurized state and the outer surface electrode 2 and the bottomed metal case 5 hold a good continuity state through the conductive powder 6. |
