PURPOSE:To manufacture a decorative article in a three-dimensional form with simple operation, by making use of characteristics of a mold having flexibility and a soft foam having elasticity. CONSTITUTION:A polyester film which is a first flexible sheet 3 to which unevenness has been embossed mechanically is mounted, onto which a thermosetting synthetic resin liquid 4 is added through casting. A laminated material 7 is manufactured by a method wherein a fiber-reinforced material 5 is made to build in a casting and adding resin liquid 4, the surface of the casting and adding resin liquid 4 is covered with a second flexible sheet 6, whose specifications are the same as that of the first flexible sheet 3, and deaeration of mixed air is performed. Then the laminated material 7 is mounted on a soft foamed elastic material 8 obtained by piling up soft polyurethane foam sheets in a triple state. When the elastic material 8 is pressed to such an extent as to crush the elastic material 8 by placing a framelike pressing mold 10 on the same, only a part of the pressing mold 10 is deformed drastically and a state at the center part becomes as flat as it is. The pressing mold 10 is removed, the laminated material 7 is put into a heating oven, the resin liquid 4 is made to cure, the laminated material 7 is shaped by cutting a circumferential part of the same appropriately and made into a decorative article for a cover of a lighting fixture. |
