PURPOSE:To prevent from exceeding a set counting value by an inertia force by a moving speed of a counting object, by reducing the frequency of a passing of the counting object attained to the counting number of a previously set amount minus lanes. CONSTITUTION:A counting object charged in a hopper 1 passes through a feeding feeder 2, a feeding conveyor 3, and a flat feeder 4 and is arranged and advances on a groove-shaped feedet 5 comprising a lane having V-shaped section while vibrating and is dropped onto an inclined chute 6 and counted. A counted value by a photoelectric sensor 7 disposed on the respective lanes 61-63 is preset at two steps. A large volume counting processing of the set number upto -alpha is performed by a high speed exciting of all lanes 51-53 of the groove feeder 5, after reaching the set number to alpha, the processing is carried out by a low speed exciting only of the lane 53.
