PURPOSE:To attain erasion of a memory even after a sealing process by using a resin through which ultraviolet rays can be transmitted freely. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 2 containing an integrated circuit 5 of a PROM which is erased by ultraviolet rays is put into an indent part of an IC card main body 1. Then the circuit 5 is sealed by the resin 6 through which the ultraviolet rays can be transmitted freely. Therefore the PROM can be erased even after sealing. As a result, the range of application of the IC card 1 is increased substantially by erasing the checking data area of the PROM with irradiation of the ultraviolet rays 7. |
