<p>PURPOSE:To enable recording with high quality to be conducted on a recording medium having a poor surface smoothness, by a system wherein the same record pattern is recorded two times on the same part of the surface of a recording medium with a low surface smoothness, with the heating temperature of a thermal head in the first recording being set to be higher than a normal heating temperature, and with the heating temperature in the second recording being set at the normal heating temperature. CONSTITUTION:When recording data are inputted, the data are once stored into a RAM 102A. The recording data are read from the RAM 102A, the first head 6 is driven through a head driver 103 to generate heat, whereby a record pattern corresponding to the data is recorded. In this case, the heating temperature of elements in the head 6 is set to be higher than a normal heating temperature, that is, the recording is conducted in an overheat condition of the elements. A carriage motor 108 is driven through a carriage motor driver 106 to move a carriage until the second head 7 reaches the recording position at which the head 6 has been located. The same recording data as above are read from the RAM 102A, and the second head 7 is driven through a head driver 104, whereby the record pattern corresponding to the recording data is recorded.</p> |
