PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance work by performing the meintenance work of a central metal die of a bar bending equipment after pushing the die out of an equipment frame. CONSTITUTION:A bar 1 is supported by supporting stands 9 and 9 and is passed through both supporting members 6 and 7 and a movable die frame 8 being the central metal die. A movable die frame 13 is moved along a guide rail 11 to directions of the arrows A and B by a cylinder 46 and bends the bar 1. In that time, both a front facing frame 5C and a back facing frame 5D of the equipment frame 5 holding the central metal die 8 are connected with each other strongly by die bolts 5E. A through hole 10 is made on a part facing to the central metal die 8 of one of the frames 5C and 5D. The guide rail 11 passing through the hole 10 and reaching the outside of the equipment frame 5 is installed as the guide rail 11 for the central metal die 8. The central metal die 8 is pushed out of the equipment frame 5 along the guide rail 11. This method facilitates meintenance work of the central metal die 8 because the die being in a wide space outside the equipment frame.
