摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the performance in the low speed range or the intermediate or low load range by adopting a variable nozzle for an exhaust turbosupercharger and inserting a clutch and a one-way clutch into a reduction gear train. CONSTITUTION:The engine revolution speed is detected by an engine revolution speed sensor 19, and fuel injection quantity is detected by the throttle opening sensor 18 of a fuel injection pump 14. A clutch 17 inserted into a reduction gear train 6 for connecting an exhaust turbosupercharger 9 and a crankshaft 5 switches the exhaust turbosupercharged state of an engine 1 and the turbocompounded state. Below prescribed revolution speed (low speed range), exhaust turbosupercharged state is maintained, and over the prescribed revolution speed, the turbocompounded state is maintained. Below the prescribed revolution speed, control is carried-out by a variable nozzle for exhaust gas.</p>
