PURPOSE:To attain turning drive without causing over-run to a large turning angle by coupling a drive means in a state released between a fixed side supporting frame and an antenna mounting base and coupling a turning means in a releasable state. CONSTITUTION:In tracing a communication satellite, a rope 9 is not tensed and accurate tracking is attained by using a jack 3. When it is required to turn the antenna to the other 2nd satellite at the outside of the tracking rang by the jack 3, after the rope 9 is tensed to a hook 12, a bolt 7 is removed to release the connection between a drive arm 6 and the antenna mounting base 1. In contracting the length of the jack 3, the rope having the length double the shrinked length of the jack is gathered via a pulley 10 and the rope 9 applied to the hook 12 exerts a torque. The antenna mounting base 1 is turned with a nearly double value of turning speed and turning angle in comparison with those of direct drive by the jack 3.
