PURPOSE:To make a welding bead uniform by providing an image sensor and picture control device, also by controlling the feeding speed of a filler wire according to the size of the gap of welding line. CONSTITUTION:An image sensor 11 and picture control panel 12 are provided for laser beam machine. The measuring point 15 of the sensor 11 is always located to the front part by distance l. On the picture of the gap of welding line projected via objective lens 10 on the sensor 11 the size 17 of the gap is measured and stored by the picture control panel 12 and fed to wire speed control panel 7 as a signal. A control panel 7 controls the feeding speed according to the size 17 of the gap feeding the optimal wire 5. The weld bead uniform over the whole line of the welding line 16 is thus formed. |
