PURPOSE:To improve a charge-and-discharge efficiency, charge-and-discharge cycling characteristic, and storage characteristic by forming a high-molecular electrolytic layer on the surface of an electroconductive polymer electrode. CONSTITUTION:A high-molecular electrolytic layer is formed on the surface of an electroconductive polymer electrode 1. The high-molecular electrolytic layer used there is of special structure and a polymeric material which can be used as electrolytic solution, for example, a complex comprising polymer, having spiral structure, and alkaline metal salt or ion-exchange resin ion- exchanged with alkaline ion. A complex comprising polymers such as polyethylene oxide, methyl polymethacrylate, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, or the like, and lithium salt such as lithium perchlorate, lithium borofluoride, or the like is known as the former concrete example. Thus, improvement of mechanical strength prevents the cell from being destroyed, and since the high-molecular electrolytic layer shows the action holding electrolytic solution, the electrolytic solution can be prevented from running away, to obtain a stable cell capacity, a cycling characteristic, storage characteristic and charge-and-discharge efficiency can be improved. |
