LIQUID-INJECTION APPARATUS FOR FOOD EXTRUDER

PURPOSE:To enable the continuous injection of even a small amount of water under high pressure, by supplying the liquid from a tank via an on-off valve and a metering pump to a water-injection pipe composed of a thick part acting as a liquid reservior and a thin part acting as a throttle and connected to the thick part in series. CONSTITUTION:The liquid-injection apparatus 41 is composed of the tank 32, the on-off valve 42, the metering pump 34, the water-injection pipe 43 and the check valve 35. The water-injection pipe 43 is composed of a thick part 44 having a relatively large diameter and acting as a liquid reservior and a thin part 45 functioning as a throttle. The high-pressure water discharged from the metering pump 34 is received in the thick part 44, throttled by the thin part 45 and sent through the check valve 35 continuously and uniformly to the nozzle 22.
