PURPOSE:To enable to reduce the danger or heat injury and at the same time to realize the effective humidification through a structure wherein some portion of blast produced by a fan is led out through a gap provided between a main body case and the outer edge of a steam discharge port, which is located in front of a main body at a location lower than a heater unit. CONSTITUTION:The major portion of the air sent by a fan motor 17 is heated while passing between a main body case 28 and a reflector 14 and exhausted as hot air from a blasting port 19. At the same time, some portion of the air is exhausted through a gap 27 provided on the outer edge of a steam discharge port 25. The water stored in a water tank 24 boils at a heating pipe 21 and rises to the steam discharge port 25 in order to be sent ahead of the steam discharge port 24 so as to go along with the air stream (c) led out through the gap 27. At that time, the air stream (c) cools down the resulting high temperature steam. Consequently, the emergence of high temperature zone near the steam discharge port by steam is prevented from coming into existence. In addition, the bedwing on a guard 15 or on the reflector 14 by the discharged steam, which is attracted on the main body side by being accompanied with the ascending air current developed by the released heat of a heater unite 29 and high temperature steam, can be prevented from occurring.
