PURPOSE:To improve the rotational precision of a rotary shaft by having magnetic field affect an area in which a negative pressure is generated, and then sucking magnetic fluid by the magnetic effect to stabilize floating of the rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary shaft 1 is turned, magnetic field serving as lubricating fluid is forcedly sent toward the center part of each of dynamic pressure generating grooves 5, 6 and 7 by the respective effects thereof. The magnetic fluid is collected to said part. On the other hand, since magnetic field affects an area B in which a negative pressure is assumed to be produced, the magnetic fluid is sucked toward the area and stagnated therein, whereby moderating the flow speed of magnetic fluid toward the center part. As a result, the floating state of the rotary shaft 1 is stabilized and the deflection thereof can be restrained so that the rotational precision of the rotary shaft 1 can be improved.
