PURPOSE:To detect the correct remaining quantity of a roll-like sheet with a simple method by putting multiple radial scales in the peripheral direction on at least one end face of the roll-like sheet to detect the sheet remaining quantity. CONSTITUTION:A roll-like sheet wound on a core 2 is set on a sheet cradle 3, and the outer diameter of a roll 1a is decreased as the sheet is fed out in the A direction in sequence. Scales 1c are printed in the radial direction on the sheet end face 1b, and when the roll-like sheet 1 is observed from the B direction, the sheet remaining quantity can be read out via the scales 1c on the remaining sheet end face 1b, and multiple scales 1c are provided in the peripheral direction on the sheet end face 1b. Accordingly, the correct sheet remaining quantity can be confirmed from any view point.
