PURPOSE:To drastically lower a generation of a track slipping due to a screw fastening during a production or the track slipping by an impact during a transportation by changing a member constituting a surface on which a bracket directly contacts a structure body from a C type to an O type and surrounding a pulse motor body by a loop of the bracket. CONSTITUTION:A member constituting a surface on which a bracket directly contacts a structure body for fixing a seek motor such as a head feeding pulse motor to the structure body of a magnetic disk device is made grom a C type to an O type and the pulse motor body is surrounded by a loop of the bracket. Thereby, a rotating force around attaching screws 27a, 27b of the bracket 35 generating on fastening the screws 27a, 27b is bore by a counter force of a shearing deformation of a plate connecting by surrounding the pulse motor body on a surface on which screw heads contact. an impact force is fore by a counter force of the shearing deformation of a connecting plate of a fixing section to parts 26a, 26b of the structure body of the bracket surrounding the pulse motor 1 at an opposite side of an output shaft of the pulse motor.
