PURPOSE:To prevent fogging from occurring at the time of printing, by using as a binder a synthetic high molecular weight latex having a degree of oil swelling with diisopropylnaphthalene of not lower than 50%. CONSTITUTION:A latex film is immersed in diisopropylnaphthalene under the conditions of 25 deg.C and 65% RH for 5hr, then the weight change was measured, and the degree of oil swelling was calculated according to formula (I). The latex is not particularly limited as to the components thereof, and a synthetic high molecular weight latex having a degree of oil swelling with diisopropylnaphthalene of not lower than 50%, preferably, not lower than 65%, more preferably, no lower than 80% may be used. When such a latex was used, fogging property at the time of printing was markedly improved. It is preferable to use a water-soluble binder together with the synthetic high molecular weight latex as the binder. A color former used for the microcapsule sheet is not particularly limited, and it is dissolved in a solvent, followed by microencapsulating the resultant solution, and the microcapsules are applied to a base. |
