The device of the invention makes it possible to vary the focus of an acoustic lens 1 consisting of a flexible elastic lens-shaped membrane filled with liquid. It consists of inflatable balloons 3 supplied with liquid or gas through pipes 4 by a micro-pump 5 with its reservoir 6. These balloons are housed in non-extensible reservoirs 2 of the lens 1.
