PICKUP DEVICE IN OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING AND REPRODUCTION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization and to make especially the titled device thin in wall in the optical axis direction of irradiated light by fixing a plate base member supporting a wave length plate with a holding member being a part of a fixed optical system and a drive mechanism included in the moving optical system so as to be clipped. CONSTITUTION:A photodetector 16 is supported by a base member 17 and the base member is fitted by a pickup body 1 with a depressing spring 18 formed as L shape and screws 19a, 19b threadedly engaged with the pickup body 1. A couple of screws 19b placed at both ends of the L-shaped depressing spring 18 is loosely engaged in the rectangular opening 17a formed in the base member 17 and then the base member 17, then the photodetector 16 is adjusted within a plane orthogonal to the optical axis by loosening the screws 19b. A recessed part 17b is provided to the major plane of the base member 17 and the photodetector 16 is bonded in the recessed part.
