PURPOSE:To make thin only the section of the entry passage of a head in thickness by shifting from a side surface position of a case to an internal side when a shutter is fully opened to maintain an open condition and setting the open position of the head at the inserting port side of a disk. CONSTITUTION:The step section 68 of a slider 64 is engaged with the step section 69 of the groove 66 of a lower case 51 through an end section 71 of a lever 70 by the exerting force of a spring 79. Accordingly, shutter 60 mounted on the slider 64 closes the inserting port 56 of the head of an upper case 50 and the head inserting port 57 of the lower case 51. Under such a condition, when a disk cartridge is inserted from the cartridge inserting port of a disk driving device, an operating section 77 abuts against the end section 83a of a shutter opening and closing operating member 83. Thereafter, according to a pressing force applied to the disk cartridge, the lever 70 slides in a direction as shown by an arrow B against the force of a spring 79, thereby the slider sliding in a direction shown by an arrow C and integrally therewith the shutter sliding in a direction shown by an arrow D.
