The invention relates to a mode of production of steam generators SG of nuclear reactors intended to prevent corrosive attack on the exchange tubes, at the upper part of the tube plate. It is characterised in that the tube plate 901 is coated on both its surfaces 902 and 903 with an Inconel coating before being drilled to receive sleeves 904 with shoulders 905, which sleeves are electron beam welded. The tubes 906 of the SG are joined end-to-end at the end of the extension 907 of the sleeve by means of an internal welder 908, with the presence on the reverse of the weld of an elastic chamber 909 allowing a neutral gas 910 to flow. <IMAGE>
