PURPOSE:To enable a power transmission ball in a torque releaser and an accepting surface for the ball to be rotated from possible damage and breakage by providing the circumferential edge of a concaved hole located on the accepting surface for the ball with a ball guide groove having a circular-arc- shaped section which is adjusted to the locus of the ball. CONSTITUTION:The ball accepting surface 6 of a power output member 2 for accepting a power transmission ball 5 in a torque releaser is provided with more than one concaved hole 7 in which the ball is to be fit. The surface of each of these concaved holes 7 is shaped into a concaved spherical form such that fits close to a portion of the ball 5. In addition, the circumferential edge of each of said holes 7 is provided with a ball guide groove 13, having a circular-arc-shaped section adjusted to the locus of the ball with the same radius as that of the periphery of the ball 5, being located in the direction the ball 5 rotates. Thereby, when the ball 5 parts from the falls into the hole 7 again, the ball 5 and the hole 7 are protected from possible damage and breakage. |
