PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the operational performance through a structure wherein approach plates, which scatter the condensate scooped up with a rotating disc having several ribs and a slinger ring, are provided. CONSTITUTION:A rotating disc 2 has radially extending ribs 3 and a slinger ring 4 in order to scatter condensate 5 and is driven by a motor 1. In addition, approach plates are made so as to curve from a scooping-up part 9 to an outdoor heat exchanger 6 side and molded integrally with a water receiving tray 8 out of synthetic resin material. The condensate 5 released from an indoor heat exchanger 10 is collected to the water receiving tray 8, when a room is cooled and dehumidified during the cooling operation. The condensate 5 is scattered at a scooping-up part 9 by the rotation of a rotating disc 2 as indicated with the arrow A and further scattered far away by the slinger ring 4. Finally, the condensate 5 is adhered to the outdoor heat exchanger 6 and evaporates. Because the outdoor heat exchanger 6 is cooled due to the latent heat of evaporation of the drain as mentioned above, refrigerant is cooled on the outdoor side, resulting in enabling to improve the heat exchange capacity on the indoor side. |
