The subject of the invention involves a method and devices for grasping and handling products in bulk. A grab according to the invention comprises four scoops 44 arranged in a cross around a body 42. Each scoop is activated by a jack. Two of the jacks, for example the jacks 43a and 43b which activate two opposite scoops are activated before the others, such that the two scoops activated by these jacks penetrate first into the products and act as anchoring elements.
