PURPOSE:To erase a desired program area or a data area with an IC card incorporated by disposing oppositely an object except for erasing under a masking condition by a shielding plate, irradiating an X ray toward an opening section, and erasing a memory content of an object to be erased. CONSTITUTION:When a data stored in an integrated circuit element 7 of an IC card is erased, the IC card 1 is opposed and disposed on an X ray irradiating device 10, and a shielding plate 11 is disposed so as to position an opening section 12 thereof on the integrated circuit element 7 and masked not so as to irradiate the X ray to a section except for the integrated circuit element 7. Then, when irradiating the X ray by the X ray irradiating device 10, an electron is caught by a floating gate, thereby reaching to the integrated circuit element 7 in a condition of storing the data, a current flows by a phoelectric effect and the data is erased. Thereby, the IC card 1 is reproduced and can be used again. |
