As shown, the ends of pipes 1, 2 of polyvinyl chloride, polyamide, polyurethane, polystyrene or polyethylene are held in abutment by clips 4, 5, the clip 4 being connected by springs 7 to a ring 6 clamped on to the pipe 2 and attached to an arm 9 moved by a crank 10 on the shaft of an electric or pneumatic motor, internal-combustion engine or a manually or mechanically-energized accumulator. |
