Prefabricated building for an internal high-voltage device

The invention relates to a prefabricated building which comprises trussed columns and beams forming the framework for supporting partitions 18 consisting of panels 34. Each panel is made up of a core 36 made of sewn glass fibres and of an external and internal metal sheet covering 38, 40 which is adhesively bonded to the glass fibre panel. The successive panels 34 are joined together by baffle joints made up of the folded-over edges of the metal sheets 38, 40. The prefabricated building may be used for an internal high-voltage device since the panels 34 can withstand the action of an internal arc and provide good thermal insulation. <IMAGE>
