The capsules are moved through the pipeline by hot water etc. flow. They are lifted by hoist sections (4) and drop down vertical falls (7), with the tops of the loops having pressurised air cushions which provide the pressure to lift up the next hoist. The different hoists have water etc. at different temp. for the different processing. The tops of the loops have water separators (8) which drain off the water for recycling leaving the capsules to fall through heated or cooled sections. No mechanical gates and shutters are required.
