PURPOSE:To enable a compressor to be driven less frequently while a vehicle is being accelerated or moving at a constant speed by allowing the compressor to be driven positively so as to decelerate the speed of the vehicle effectively permitting the average value of the temperature at an evaporator blow-off outlet to be decreased. CONSTITUTION:Both compared voltage VT from a voltage dividing circuit 3 which includes a thermister 1 to detect the temperature T at an evaporator blow-off outlet, and reference voltage VS by a voltage dividing circuit 6, are applied to a comparator 7 for comparison. At this moment, an engine brake is applied. When the brake application is detected by a detecting means, electric voltage VE of high potential is inputted, then the riser of voltage VE is differentiated by a differential circuit 15 allowing a transistor 20 to be turned on for the period of the stated time. Subsequently, an inverse input terminal of the comparator 7 is grounded allowing VT to be almost zero electric potential. This causes the electric potential of the comparator 7 to be immediately high. Subsequently, this permits an electromagnetic clutch 10 to be turned on through an AND gate 13, a transistor 8, and a contact 9-1 of a relay 9 allowing a compressor of an air conditioner to be driven. |
