PURPOSE:To make the data inputting operation of a data processing device smooth by changing the content of display of a displaying element burried in a data inputting key linking to the operation of a page key. CONSTITUTION:A displaying element consisting of liquid crystal etc. is provided on the upper face of each inputting key 5, and characters, etc. indicating functions of the data inputting key is shown on the displaying element. Besides inputting keys 5, page keys 3, 4... are provided, functions of each data inputting key can be changed by selection of page keys, and characters, etc. indicating the function is displayed on the displaying element of each data inputting key. The function prescribed by the page keys 3 is shown on each data inputting key, and when the page key 4 is depressed next, respective data inputting keys mounted on the keyboard can make entirely different function displays.
