PURPOSE:To contrive to realize the efficient room heating and to lighten the whole weight of a heater by a structure wherein heat radiating bodies are provided so as to be housed in grooves, which are open on the top surface of a plywood, and a heat insulating plate is attached onto the underside of the plywood and a soaking plate is provided onto the top surface of the plywood. CONSTITUTION:A plywood 1 consists in compression-molding wood fibers in such a shape that the top surface provides with grooves 3 in the predetermined pattern and the underside provides with grooves 6, each of which is formed at the portion corresponding to the flat made between the grooves 3 on the top surface. Heat radiating bodies 3 are provided so as to be housed in the grooves 2 open on the top surface of the plywood 1. A panel type heater consists on attaching a heat insulating plate 4 onto the underside and a soaking plate 5 is provided onto the top surface of said plywood 1 equipped with the heat radiating bodies 3 in the grooves 2. Consequently, because all the depth of the grooves 2 on the top surface of the compression-molded plywood 1 are constant, the heat released from the heat radiating bodies 3 provided by being housed in the grooves 2 can be uniformly dissipated from the whole surface of the soaking plate 5 into a room. In addition, because the heat insulating plate 4 is attached onto the underside of the plywood 1, the heat loss, which dissipates outside the room, is extremely small, resulting in enabling to uniformly and efficiently heat the whole interior of the room. Further, because hollow spaces, which are formed by the grooves 6 on the underside, are provided on both sides of each groove 2, in which the heat radiating body is housed, the excellent heat insulation effectiveness and at the same time the lightening of the whole weight of the heater are realized. |
