摘要 In an arrangement for circulating a liquid electrolyte of a battery system comprising a plurality of cells (1), the cells (1), each of which is provided with an electrolyte discharge (2) and an electrolyte supply (3), are connected, via an electrolyte line (4) to a central electrolyte header (5) equipped with a temperature-regulating device (6, 7). To transfer the electrolyte back and forth, a pressure-generating unit (8-10) is provided which alternately generates gas excess-pressure and gas reduced-pressure pulses. Such an arrangement results in a particularly economical operation of the cells (1) if the pressure-generating unit (8-10) is connected via a pressure line (11) to an upper gas space (12) of the gas-tight cells (1) and the tube-shaped electrolyte discharge (2), which extends as far as the cell bottom region, and the tube-shaped electrolyte supply (3), which ends in the electrolyte level region and is provided with a non-return valve (13), are combined above the electrolyte level and are connected to the electrolyte line (4). <IMAGE>
