A description is given of a friction-lining carrier with exchangeable friction linings, in particular for full disc brakes, the friction-lining carrier (1) having radially on the inside and radially on the outside recesses (15, 16) which extend along the periphery and surround corresponding rim areas of the friction linings (2-13), one of the recesses furthermore forming a gap (19), the width of which corresponds to at least the width of the friction linings, and the gap being closable by means of a closure element (17) and the closure element being secured in the circumferential direction and in the radial direction by means of a clip-shaped securing element (20). In order to permit low tolerance sensitivity of the components, a spring element (28, 35, 44) is provided, this spring element being supported, on the one hand, against the friction-lining carrier (1) and, on the other hand, against a closure element (17, 33, 42) in order to press the latter in the radial direction against the friction lining. <IMAGE>
