Towing vehicle with a tow-lifting device arranged on the rear, which device has a lifting frame which can be lowered onto the carriageway and is intended for receiving the wheels of the vehicle to be towed. The lifting frame is supported on the rear axle of the towing vehicle. The lifting movement takes place by changing the distance between rear axle and vehicle body.
