A light-transmitting device for fibre-optical sensors, for example for the chemical analysis of substances, comprises a sensor fibre (3) which can be connected to a sensor (13), a transmitting fibre (4) which can be connected to a light source (14), a receiving fibre (5) which can be connected to a light detector (15) and a demountable connection (joint) (1; 2) with an integrated beam splitter for coupling the respective fibre ends. The respective end faces of the fibres are situated opposite one another in such a way that light from one fibre can enter a fibre situated opposite.
