WELDING LINE DETECTING METHOD

PURPOSE:To prevent the mis-recognition of a welding line position and to increase the reliability in detection by making the signal period to detect a welding line from the secondary generated energy of the body to be worked close to the welding line. CONSTITUTION:The output signal C for detecting the welding line of an electron beam welding is outputted by the scanning signal A to scan the welding line in crossing direction and the signal B to detect the welding line from the secondary generated energy of the body to be worked. The detecting signal period is made close to the welding line 14 by interposing a gate control part 8, a delay pulse generating part 7 and an inflection point detecting part between this detecting signal B and welding line detecting part 5. The mis-recognition of the position of welding line is prevented and reliability in the detection is improved.
