PURPOSE:To obtain the inexpensive titled body having a very small increasement of a transmission loss due to an irradiation of radiation by sealing hydrogen or a substance generating hydrogen by irradiating an energy from an outside into a space between the optical transmission body stored into a tube body and the tube body. CONSTITUTION:The optical transmission body 1 composed of an optical fiber or plural optical fibers is covered with the stainless tube having a flexibility by forming said tube to for example a wave like in a state of exposing both ends of the optical transmission 1, and both ends of said tube 2 are sealed with a sealing material 4 composed of an epoxy resin or a glass hermetic sealing. The hydrogen gas is sealed into the tube 2. A hydrocarbon and an org. compd. generating hydrogen with the energy from the outside or a nitrogen compd. may be sealed. By the presence of the hydrogen gas, the generation of a color center due to the hydrogen gas diffused in a quartz glass is reduced and the increasement of the transmission loss is prevented.
