PURPOSE:To simplify a reduction starter in structure as well as to improve its assembling accuracy, by coupling a front bracket, having a bearing to make the rotation of a central sun gear in a planetary gear unit constituting a reduction mechanism a fulcrum shaft, with the V-type groove installed in the inner circumference of a yoke in a plastic flow manner. CONSTITUTION:An armature 2 of a motor 1 is rotatably supported by a shaft 3 and bearings 15 and 16, and its toque is transmitted to an armature pinion 4 solidly formed with the shaft 3. This armature pinion 4 constitutes the central sun gear of a planetary gear unit and unlike this, an internal gear ring gear 6 constitutes other sun gears, while plural planetary gears 7 are set up in an annular space 5 to be formed between them. At the above-mentioned, the bearing 15 is locked to a front cover 13, and the bearing 16 is locked to a front bracket 14. Then, this front bracket 14 is locked to the V-type groove installed in the inner circumference of the yoke by means of plastic flow coupling. |
