PURPOSE:To minimize the packing volume of an electric fan and facilitate production process by installing a neck piece and a neck piece supporting part designed to allow moving a motor part to a location forming right angle with its base. CONSTITUTION:On one side of a neck piece 24, a round hole 20 is formed, and into this hole 20, a spring 21 and a ball head 22 are inserted in this order. On one side of a neck piece supporting part 25 facing the round hole 20, a long hole 23 is formed, and usual rotational control of the elevation and depression angle is made through the engagement of the ball head 22 with the long hole 23. At the time of packing, the ball head 22 is fitted into the round hole 20, while the neck piece 24 is made to rotate beyond the normal rotational scope so that a motor part 1 forms right angle with its base.
