PURPOSE:To improve efficiency and safety of roller reassembling work by connecting a roller assembly (RC) and a roller frame (RF) by engaging the rod end into the guide groove by driving hydraulic cylinders. CONSTITUTION:Pressure oil is fed into hydraulic cylinders 15 to move rod ends 16 down to release engagement of a positioning key 17 and to release connection of the RC assembly A and the RF 13 by generating a clearance between the RC 10 and the RF 13 and another clearance between the guide grooves 19 and the rod ends 16. When the assembly A is loaded on a stopper 18, a clearance (a) becomes zero and a clearance (a) is made between the RC 10 and the RF 13 instead so that the upper and lower RC assemblies A and B are pulled out integrally and horizontally. the upper and lower RC assemblies A and B containing rollers to be reassembled are assembled into a housing C before the RC assembly A is engaged and fixed to the RF by the inverse procesured to the above procedures.
